HEALTHY LIFESTYLES
Incorporating healthy living, positive behaviors and active learning in every part of the Club experience.

Enabling youth to make Healthy Lifestyle choices is a priority for us. Our members learn the  importance of being healthy through daily 30-minute exercise, nutrition classes, sports leagues, classes, swimming, You Go Girl track meet, and Summer Games.

MISSION MOMENT
Jada is an athletic girl, but her friends do not like sports. As a result,
she stayed away from the gym and any athletic activities. She enjoyed it when we implemented physical fitness rotations in the gym. When it came time for the special event: Pitch, Hit & Run; it took some coaxing, but Jada participated. She won the Club competition and went on to the
sectional tournament. She won that too and then competed at Petco Park for the finals before a Padres game. 


We offer the following Healthy Lifestyles programs:
Lunch & Afternoon Snack Program - The majority of our sites provide free snacks to all youth daily & a free lunch during summer.
Physical Fitness - Members take part in 30 minutes of physical fitness or exercise activities on a daily basis.
Planet Health - Children engage in activities such as cooking classes and nutrition education classes.
Triple Play - Empowering young people to make informed decisions about their physical, mental and social well-being.
